Sustainability

Field and Lawn offer sustainable flag options made from 100% recycled yarns taken from ocean waste. These innovative materials help to reduce CO2 emissions and save 3.8 barrels of oil per tonne. Our manufacturing process uses 100% clean natural gas, which reduces the emission of SO2 to almost zero. Importantly, it reduces Nitrogen emission by almost 60%, providing an environmentally responsible alternative without compromising on durability or visual impact.

We can enhance many of our sustainable flags with Re-Active Air Coating. Independent testing by the University of Sheffield found that each square metre of treated fabric can remove approximately 2g of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from the atmosphere every day. Meaning a typical flag installation of around 50m² can help remove pollution equivalent to that produced by a bus or around 20 cars daily. In addition, the coating also helps prevent the build-up of dirt and soot, keeping flags cleaner and brighter for longer.
