This week saw the completion of the Soho Photography Quarter – an outdoor art gallery installation that has been 2 years in the making and a truly epic project to have been a part of.
18 months ago we were approached to install some large scale banners in a relatively unknown quarter of Soho, tucked behind Oxford Street and devoid of any vibrancy. Fast forward to the summer of 2022 and we are proud to have delivered a full scale exterior gallery space on behalf of the The Photographers’ Gallery.
Working in partnership with Andreas Lechthaler Architecture, Macroart and the gallery themselves we are delighted to finally see their long-dreamed vision come to life. It is now a space that can be enjoyed freely by the public and hopefully a place that artists will look to display new and different work for years to come.
The BBC reported more on the project here and be sure to visit the newly christened Soho Photography Quarter the next time you’re in London.
