The Requirement…
The client needed a temporary building in close proximity to the store so that goods could be transported freely between the store and their new storage facility.
The building needed to fit into a small footprint and not detract from the stores current visual appearance.
The Solutions…
Field & Lawn provided a clear span temporary building to maximise storage space using insulated sandwich panels in a specific blue RAL colour.
The new structure will enable the client to continue expanding their operation to meet the ever-growing demand for on-site storage.
Importantly due to the modular nature of temporary buildings, if the client requires more space in the future, it can be quickly bolted on to their existing space.
The insulated structure provides 400 square metres of storage space with a single skin, insulated PVC roof.
The Specification…
Frame: Aluminium clear-span structure with 4 channel aluminium extrusion beam, a 22-degree roof pitch, snow loading capacity of 75kg/m2 and wind loading of 28 m/s.
Roof: Single skin white PVC to roof 650g/m²,
non-flammable, fully tensioned. Internal insulated liner
Walling: 60mm Insulated sandwich panels
Lighting: 8 200W LED high bay lights
Guttering: 40m of UPVC gutters per side
