Robbie, one of our Project Managers in the Scotland Branch, was due to be taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon this May. However, due to COVID restrictions the marathon will now be taking place virtually on the 30th May instead.
He will be running for the Three Bears Foundation which was set up by a friend, Chris, who sadly lost his mum to Pancreatic Cancer back in 2018. Since then, Chris has managed to raise over £67,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK and we want to help him raise even more to help achieve his target of £100,000.
Robbie has been training hard since January and has completed a total of 60 runs covering 690KM in the rain, snow, sleet, and sun. The aim is to achieve sub 3.30 on his first ever marathon attempt which would be a great achievement.
Please read his story: Bob and Ben the Marathon Men and support Robbie and The Three Bears Foundation by giving as much as you can. We’re very proud of Robbie and are looking forward to seeing how he gets on!
