Festoon lighting

Illuminate your high street with timeless festoon lighting

Festoon lights are a timeless and versatile lighting solution that can enhance your high street, increase footfall and drive local spending in town centres and commercial spaces. Featuring elegant strings of suspended bulbs, festoon lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Encouraging visitors to spend more time in the local retail and hospitality areas. Ideal for streets, pedestrian areas and outdoor commercial spaces, festoon lights provide a cost-effective, year-round solution. As well as transforming public spaces into welcoming environments that attract visitors and support local businesses. Making them one of the UK’s most popular choices for hight streets and town centre lighting.

Why do streets need festoon lighting?

Festoon lighting offers enduring appeal, making it an ideal choice for both Christmas displays, seasonal events and year-round hight street lighting. By creating a warm, inviting glow it attracts shoppers, and helps them enjoy everything a town centre has to offer well into the evening. This commercial lighting solution creates a welcoming atmosphere, while brighter, well-lit streets feel safer, more vibrant and appealing to visitors. By supporting post-dusk shopping, dining and socialising, festoon lighting can help strengthen the night time economy.

Designing festoon lighting

There are several types of outdoor festoon lighting options, including single and double filament bulbs, each of which provides something different. To help you choose the right type of decorative street lighting for your space, single filament bulbs are ideal for modern schemes. They are highly energy efficient LEDs and are available in a spectrum of colours, including warm or cool white tones. Double filament bulbs provide a rich, vintage glow, with a more decorative look and feel. Shapes such as tear drop or globe style bulbs are available. We can tailor the look to suit your town centre, event, or retail space.

Commercial festoon lighting is a cost-effective way of improving a space. It can be easily installed between existing lamp posts, buildings, or suspended across shopping streets without the need for expensive infrastructure installations.
