To extend the life of your event structure, regular repairs and maintenance is essential to keep it in perfect condition. In addition to a wide range of marquee repairs, we also provide regular and routine on-site servicing to ensure your marquee is safe, compliant and fit for purpose. This includes:
Structural integrity inspections: Assessment of the marquee frame, including aluminium beams, tension cables, and anchoring points and reviewing load tests to ensure the frame can withstand expected wind and snow loads for your location.
Verification of ground anchorage: Including reviewing stake fixings or ballast calculations for hardstanding installations.
PVC fabric tensioning and condition assessment: We check the marquee’s PVC for wear, UV degradation, and micro-tears that could compromise water resistance and safety. Were needed, we re-tension the roof and wall panels to prevent sagging, pooling of water, or excessive wind flap, which can lead to damage
Drainage & guttering maintenance: Clearance of integrated guttering to prevent blockages and water ingress. Inspection of downpipes, soakaways, and surface water drainage solutions to ensure proper runoff, especially for permanent or semi-permanent marquee applications
If you are looking to refresh or renew your marquee, we can provide a complete solution. Refreshing your marquee can be a cost-effective way to extend its lifespan and keep it looking new and inviting. we can modify and renew your marquee by installing bespoke branded gable ends or changing side walls to clear window panels, allowing more natural light inside the marquee. We can also upgrade flooring with hard-wearing wooden or carpeted options.
These modifications can breathe new life into your setup while maintaining durability and compliance with safety standards. If you need to remove, replace or re-locate your marquee, our in-house team can help with every aspect of your project.
Clearspan marquees, especially those permanently sited at wedding venues or major event locations, are vulnerable to extreme weather conditions, particularly during storms. High winds, heavy rain, and snow loading can compromise structural integrity, material tension, and anchoring systems. There are a number of preventative measures we can assist with if severe weather is forecast to help protect your marquee. If you are in any doubt and need expert advice, you can contact a local branch to discuss how you can protect your marquee prior to severe weather.
Preventative measures include additional storm bracing and strapping for extra security and tensioning cables to reinforce the frame against high winds. We can increase ground anchorage by using additional ground stakes or ballast weights. It is important to check and re-tension the PVC wall panels to minimise the opportunity for “wind flap” this will reduce the risk of tearing. It is important to check surface water drainage around the marquee to prevent pooling or flooding, which can undermine anchoring points. Finally, in some circumstances, it may be safer to adjust the marquee’s orientation/location to reduce wind exposure or to temporarily dismantle the marquee entirely. If your marquee has been damaged, contact us to discuss a marquee repair.
