Due to continued expansion of the business, we are looking for someone from a sales/project management background to join the business to work with us to continue our growth. We are particularly interested in individuals who may have worked with event or industrial structures previously.
Based in Runcorn, the Project Manager will focus on building the business sales and improving the project delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with the Branch Director as well as other members of the team to achieve the business objectives and targets set. A flexible working pattern will be required depending on the nature and location of the events/customers. It is an all-rounded role, from enquiry through to delivery.
New Business Development – Responsible for proactively seeking business opportunities and building sound relationships. Play an active role in marketing and advertising strategies.
Relationship Development – Responsible for proactively developing sound relationships with clients to ensure that full requirements are known, communicated and understood to enable delivery to their satisfaction and within established costs.
Enquiries & Quotations – Responsible for efficiently handling enquiries, understanding customer needs and the preparation and timely delivery of appropriate quotations.
Job Costing – Responsible for ensuring quotations are costed accurately and then priced appropriately to win the business whilst also aiming to achieve long term customer value and achieve the targeted returns.
Site Meetings – Responsible for conducting site meetings with the prospective clients, surveying the site including site specific risk assessments and building strong customer relations.
Contract Ownership – Take complete ownership of the project, (including sub-contractors). This is from initial contact through to contract completion, ensuring customer satisfaction. It will involve starting contracts off, monitoring delivery of installations and follow up meetings.
We are looking for someone with real drive and a desire to succeed. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and well organised. The individual will be able to professionally handle and develop customer relations.
The successful candidate must be willing and capable to learn new skills and procedures from different sides of the business, implementing that learning in the appropriate manner while adapting to different circumstances.
We are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience in either events, project management or the construction industry. A full driving license is required. Remuneration Salary will be in the region of £28k – £35k depending on experience. A targeted annual bonus scheme is available plus a mobile phone. A fully expensed car is available following successful completion of a probationary period.
